Working Moms and Baby’s Meal Prep

Hey ladies, First time mommy here and now working full time again. I work in finance and although I’ve been trying to stick to strictly 9 to 5, there are days when my hours can be long and commuting makes me tired to. Anyway I am so exhausted that the last thing I want to do is cook some days but I need to feed my baby. I also don’t want to always lean on packaged purées / baby food for him. I am thinking meal prepping for him 2x a week would probably be best. Any tips on making feeding him solids easier routine wise? Any menu ideas?

I’m interested so commenting to follow along 😌 I’m in the same boat

I've been making purees and then freezing them in ice cube trays, transferring to baggies once frozen. Then when it's time to eat I microwave whatever combo we're doing that day, for example I'll microwave a chicken cube and a zucchini cube together, or a peach cube and a blueberry cube.

If you do a couple purees a week on the weekend, you'll build up a store of fast options

I’ve been doing a combo of purées and baby led weaning where you leave food in larger chunks (check out solid starts app) It makes it easier because I can just chop up a few large slices of things, and can totally prep ahead for this. For example You could prep chicken and even serve that cold, alongside some avocado and broccoli (again you could prep this!)
