Baby is now breech

My baby has been head down since 28 weeks, I’m 35+5 now and just got back from a midwife appointment and baby is now breech! Has anyone had this happen and did they turn back down before 37 weeks?

I am 36+4 baby is breech. Scheduled for ECV this week

Mine turned back round in the 37th week so it can happen! C

I’m 35+4 and baby has been breech every time we have an appointment 🙈 I don’t think he’s been head down yet! I have to go in for a presentation scan next week and if he is still breech they will book me in for an ECV while I’m 36 weeks to try & manually turn him around. The midwife suggested trying some of the Spinning Babies techniques (eg forward leaning inversion - there’s videos on YouTube) to try & get baby to turn round by himself 🤞

The baby didn't turn after 3 attempts but the ECV procedure is not painful.Very minimal or negligible discomfort, deep breaths really helped and if anyone is planning to give it a try, please ensure that you're taking deep breaths.

I had an ECV last Friday and it worked! I was uncomfortable and a bit painful but totally manageable pain, and they gave me an injection in advance to relax my uterus muscles which helped. Deep breaths were very important!
