Being permanently covered in either milk, sick or piss

I really like my mommy pouch 🙄

If it weren’t for the hair loss, what else would’ve been my catalyst to shave my head so that way in 10-15 years I can tell my kids that I did it?

Avatar

i love when people offer to hold the baby so that i can do tasks like cleaning the bathroom or making food for everyone

Avatar

One tit is smaller than the other and I am COMPLETELY fine with it. 🙂

Avatar

I really enjoy my new found stank

Avatar

I just couldn’t live without the mood swings and occasional rage.

Avatar

Oh there's too many to choose from!! I loved wearing the adult sized diaper while my body bled 9 months worth of missed periods. I loved not sleeping and staying up all night. I also love that at almost 12 months postpartum I'm still sweating my tits off for no apparent reason 😬❤️

Avatar

ohh you’re right, the unmanageable sweating is so fun!

The night sweats

I fact that I cant just do nothing - like ever

Avatar

Ooh never having to get out of bed

Avatar

It’s a toss up between peeing myself anytime there’s a surprise sneeze or unexpected comedic moment, and being so tired that I circle back around to normal. 😀

Feeling like someone took a sledgehammer to my 🐱 ❤️ motherhood is beautiful.. 🙃

For sure my moods 🫠 bless my families’ heart.

Definitely the blow out nappies & the house constantly smelling of; sick, wee & poo! It must be a joy to any visitors nostrils... All come over & smell the farm that I created, oh wait a minute🤔 that's not a farm in my front room, that's what my newbaby created! Then it won't be much different, once potty training is in full swing... 'No don't poo on the carpet beside the potty - poo in the potty!' {True story my eldest actually did this! Inside I was livid but, outwardly 'great effort, you almost made it' 🥳🫢🤣

Love the constant anxiety 🤪

I love the bit where my vagina just ached all the fucking time. Super fun.

My favorite part this time is not having dairy, egg, or soy due to my breastfed baby’s allergies. Who needs cheese anyway? Or chocolate or any Asian food or anything baked or literally anything made with butter or…

Avatar

Sleep deprivation was my favourite part😍 he’s 15 months now and sleep deprivation ended about 2 weeks ago thanks to sweet sleep training 🥳

Avatar

Feeling like my insides were going to fall out of me 😂👍🏽 x

Being shit on

Tell me why my boys where a hour away in the NICU and I still was sleep deprived not sleeping like they where home😂🤦🏻‍♀️

The leaky boobies and wet tee shirt contest I’m in with myself every morning

Avatar

These are all amazing things! You ladies did not disappoint 😂😂💕

Avatar

I'm at the point of asking Google if you can die from lack of sleep 😴. I guess I'll sleep when i die lol

Waking up thinking you rolled on your baby

Avatar

i absolutely love my bladder prolapse 🥰 the pelvic floor exercises are sooo fun!!

Avatar

ohh yes!!!! The horror😭😭

Avatar

I feel this😩

Avatar

Getting home from the hospital to find out baby won’t sleep in the cot you purchased, only on your chest… so after three days of labour and no sleep you lie awake petrified of moving or closing your eyes in case you roll over and squash your brand new human being that you don’t know how to look after 🙃

Avatar

Body odor 100% smell awful even right after a shower🥴🙃

Avatar

Looking 6-7 months pregnant 14 months pp🥴🙄

Avatar

I didn’t know hair loss was a thing 😂😂 I wondered why one side of my fringe has like completely disappeared!!! Now I know 😭

Avatar

literally!! on top of that, both times my champagne toast body wash smelled like urine on my skin pp until I stopped lactating 😭

Avatar

Feeling like a completely different person than you were just a day ago before the baby being born and not recognizing yourself mentally or physically. your relationship dynamic extremely changing because someone lied about how ready and helpful they’d be with YALL child. I love being blindsided into 1000% caretaking.

Avatar

I’ll have to keep that in mind😅 I’m still 14 months in and breastfeeding a lot🥴

Avatar

I love that I gained almost 50 pounds during pregnancy just for my baby to weigh 7 pounds at birth. And I’ve been told that the weight would just fall off since I’m breastfeeding. It just ain’t happening for me🥺

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!
