VBAC with a big baby

Hi, I was wondering if anyone managed to have a VBAC even if the baby was measuring big?

How big? I've had 2 vbacs, and my biggest baby was 8 pounds 8 ounces. Wanted to edit, I'm 4' 11 and my husband is 6'3

I would also love to here other people’s stories as well 👋🏻 my babies have been 9+ lbs (c-sections not related to size)

My mum had 2 VBACS and her last was almost 10lbs

I had a failed VBAC, baby was 8lbs 6oz and they said her head circumference was large and unable to descend fully into my pelvis. Emergency c-section after she got stuck, although I’m only 5’3 and my midwife said my pelvic area felt small

A lot of people will tell you that growth scans can be inaccurate which was true in my case. I had a VBAC in July. They kept saying he was going to be huge. From the scans he was on track to be over 10 lbs but ended up only being 8lbs 5oz. He did have a pretty big head (93rd percentile), but my first son who wouldn’t descend only had a 30th percentile head and was a smaller baby overall. Women birth big babies all the time! I wouldn’t let it deter you from trying for a VBAC if you and baby are healthy.

My baby was 9lb 1oz and we had him naturally though a VBAC! Don’t let the size scare you. Sometimes measuring can be off. Even if it isn’t, however, women have been having babies forever.

My little girl was predicted to be 9.5/10lbs. She was 5 days over and 7.lbs 4oz x
