Thrush / spotting blood

I had this with my last go of thrush, i found that canesten cream from the GP helped with soothing and getting it gone a lot more than the pessary they gave me the first time around. Definitely felt a lot more cooling especially because it felt very inflamed and swollen. Don't advise looking down there with a mirror like I did though🤣 Hope it gets sorted soon for you x

@Mollie I’m going to try the cream again as had it from second trimester from doctor but went and now has came back but worse than before! 😩 It’s the worse feeling ever like cutting and throbbing too but the spotting did scare me but realised it’s probably from the thrush x Thank you for coming back 🩷

It is honestly awful, I'd never had it until being pregnant. It was worse the second time for me as well and that's when I noticed the stinging and slight spotting. It was definitely from the thrush though so I wouldn't worry too much. Always worth mentioning it to your midwife or GP though for peace of mind more than anything . Fingers crossed it gets better for you🩷

Yeah I’ve had thrush so bad before I was bleeding, it’s awful! This was a while ago now and I remember going to the GP about it as nothing was working! Hope you feel better soon xx

Have you tried the thrush pessary along the cream , the pessary is like a tablet inserted into the vagina to help internally x
