Getting Pregnant while breastfeeding
Hello ladies, is it possible to get pregnant while breastfeeding. Has anyone gotten pregnant while breastfeeding postpartum?

My mom said she had to stop and give my sister formula because then she wasn’t going to give enough nutrients to her unborn baby. I’m not sure if it would be the same for every mom
Yes it is possible. I got pregnant with my second while breast feeding.
@Cindy oh my I never thought of that. I nursed my first until I was 5 months pregnant. She was a very healthy baby.
Yep it definitely shouldn’t just be used as birth control. It could help postpone period and ovulation. But for a lot of people their periods come back and could get pregnant even before their period because you ovulate first
