OMG I just told my husband this morning that I have been having a hard time sleeping because my body is so freaking sore no matter how I lay down. It’s the worst!
You can get prescribed something to help sleep! I can't remember what it's called at the moment. But I have had a hard time sleeping the whole time so far. I'm 15 weeks today. The tiredness is so freaken real. And the not able to find a comfy position of flip flopping alllllll nights been driving me crazy. I am gonna be trying a body pillow to see if that helps?
I don't know if it'll help yall, but I started using magnesium oil spray on the bottom of my feet and my aches and pains are minimal now. This is my 4th and it's the first time my body aches haven't kept me up. I'm also 12w3d
@Sadie I’m also may 31st! 😊
@Andree it’s so annoying haha
@Bethany I have the pregnancy pillow but it makes me feel like I’m stuck in one spot and it annoys me a little lol
@Kacee I’ll look into that!
@Lisa it also helps with blood pressure regulation, water retention, cortisol levels and blood sugar, so it's an extremely beneficial thing overall, but balanced electrolytes is one of the big factors in muscle aches and magnesium is the number one mineral that the body is typically deficient in. 😊
I was just thinking this today too. I feel uncomfortable on whichever side on laying on😪 been trying to use pillows to help
I’m 16 weeks tomorrow and I feel like each week that passes the pains get worse. I had a little bit of energy today so I decided to wash my new curtains and put tree up (haven’t decorated it yet) only opened up the tree and my feet and back are killing me! It feels like I did a full on workout. Every night has been a struggle also with the sleeping positions. I normally sleep on my back but now I have to sleep on my sides and my hips/legs hurt from being on my side too long. 😣 hang in there mamas! We got a long way to go still lol
Yup. You're allowed to take unisom sleep tabs for sleep, but they were too intense for me. It's the same sleep aid that's in tylenol PM, and my OB has that on the cleared list of medications. Last pregnancy, I took a single tylenol PM (which is half the dose) at night. I got sleep and woke up without pain. If you're in a lot of pain and can't sleep I'd recommend that, but obviously clear it with your OB first.
We have similar due dates! Do you use any pillows for support ?
May 26th due date! I was just telling my husband how, even though I'm showing now, not sure how I won't be able to sleep on my back. My hips hurt and my sides ache when I'm on my side..... but then I have restless legs when I'm on my back😂 So I'm just a mess
@Kianna I have the pregnancy pillow! But it’s annoying me sometimes lol

@Jordan haha that’s how I feel. I can never get a good nights sleep.
@Lisa Aw I get that. Sometimes just putting pillow near your back and in between your legs really helps. Also elevating your legs and head a little bit helps too.
Oh my gosh! When is your due date! Mine is May 31st. I toss and turn all night! I have sooo many pillows. It doesn’t help that I have to get up to pee a few times haha.
