I’m 16+1 weeks and have been on the phone to triage this morning. I’ve got the ‘pulling’ & ‘stretching’ feeling pain on top of my bump plus have cramps in my legs. They told me that apparently it’s normal and to just take paracetamol. I think I have a cold coming as well as I do feel slightly under the weather and have a very mild sore throat. I feel the aniexty gets worse the further on you go into pregnancy. This is my third and my past two pregnancies were completely different! X
@Kim it’s awful isn’t it, my tiredness has increased so much too, and the tenderness is crazy, I’m hoping it’s just due to everything stretching and baby getting bigger but it being my first time I panic 😂 I’m a nightmare honestly! Hope it eases for you soon! ☺️xx
@Beccie oh bless you! I think as Mumma’s and Mumma’s to be were bound to worry! It’s a shame that our belly’s aren’t see through so we can just have a peak and see what’s going on! I’m currently on a stretch now and waiting for my 20 week scan December 9th, constantly worrying that something is wrong but then trying not to worry too much as I don’t want to stress myself out! It’s tough work! Hope you get better soon lovely! Xxx
@Liv yeah especially as it just seemed to appear randomly this week as a fun new symptom! I’ve also been getting round ligament pain too so presume it’s just all part of the package 😂 I’m seeing my midwife next week though so will ask her about it but I think it’s quite common at this stage so not to worry 😊 Thanks @Beccie for the advice also! X
@Kim honestly it’s a nightmare isn’t it! I don’t know what to expect next! 😂 I mean as long as baby is ok and content then that’s all I’m worried about, but god damn these new symptoms are killing me!! Oh that’s ideal, at least you’ll be able to have a chat with them about it all! I don’t have my next appointment till 9th December now, feels ages away, but I’m sure it’ll fly by! Good luck! 🤞 xxx
@Liv thank you so much - same goes to you. My 20 week scan is 17th Dec! I also have midwife next week so I’ll speak to her if I really do start struggling. I think it’s so normal to worry, their our babies and even when they’re on the outside, you worry. Hope you start feeling better as well xx
Following this! I’m 16 weeks and have also started experiencing the same this week!
