Pain and discharge

Hi I'm currently 10 weeks with my first pregnancy, I think everything has been fine so far I've had a lot of normal symptoms and we saw the baby at 7+5 with a private scan. But this week I have been having a lot of pain in the pelvic/groin area which hasn't been too severe but a bit concerning. Then yesterday I had some brown discharge and brown stains in my knickers when I woke up this morning - I've been calling but haven't managed to get through to my midwife yet. Anyone else had something like this?

Definitely push to have an early NHS scan just to be safe

I’ve had some brown discharge too, I rang the IVF nurses (we’ve had IVF and are still under their care) and they said it’s really normal in early pregnancy and they’d only do a scan if I had more worrying symptoms (I think they meant lots of bright red blood). You could try to get an earlier scan for reassurance if you think that would help with the worry of it - I’m tempted but I think I’m going to wait

I managed to get through to the EPU and they booked me in for a scan this afternoon which I was so grateful for. Everything is all fine with baby but glad they saw me to check it out and be safe x
