Mamas of triplets...what can I expect?

I am so nervous about being high risk! I just found out I'm having triplets ( 7w 2d), the excitement hasn't worn off since I had fertility issues for 4 years and I feel like it's a blessing but I am also very nervous. What are some things I should know? How do you do it? The feeding, the sleeping, the pregnancy....tell me everything ♥️

I would join twins trust as they have lots of advice, talks, magazine ,workshops,discounts for families with multiples. It’s so different for everyone a lot of it’s trial and error and that’s when the decision fatigue is killer.

The algorithm sent me this 🤪

I am also pregnant with triplets, and i am on 15 weeks. Don't take stress. Be happy. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly

@bella are you taking extra folic acid? My Dr still hasn't responded with how much I should be taking. I've been taking prenatal for the last 6 months but I heard with multiples you have to up the folic

I am taking prenatal that has enough folic acid. Doctor recommend me that one.

If you are taking folic acid before pregnancy, it's good 👍

Hi there ! Congratulations ! That’s quite a blessing !!! I’m pregnant with twins and also a bit nervous of the high risks AND getting enough vitamins / supplements My obgyn automatically prescribed me iron, folic acid, and calcium gummies as soon as we discovered twins And also a prescription of Aspirin 81mg since there’s a risk of preeclampsia for any multiples. So far that seems to be the 3 - 4 most important. Did your doctor get back to you on what you need ?

@Lisa yes I've been on the 81 mg aspirin for 5 months. As well as magnesium, omega 3 and vitamin d3 + k2. We were being seen at a fertility clinic but the dr never called me back after the ultrasound finding out it's triplets. I have bought one mg folic acid as the prenatal I am taking only has 1 mg. I took the extra folic acid starting today. We found out on Thursday at my 7 week ultrasound

Reddit sub: parentsofmultiples. I have seen several triplets parents there sharing their experience. I’m sure they will welcome and help you with any questions!

@Caroline thank you 😊
