Anyone else sofa-bound and trying to stay positive?

A combination of severe PGP, sciatica (a new addition) and now lightning crotch since baby has turned head down means that I can’t walk for more than a minute or two without being in severe pain and needing to sit down. I also need my husband to help me with absolutely everything which I feel guilty about. I’m really missing fresh air and am feeling quite down about the fact that I’m so inactive. Anyone else? How are we staying entertained/positive in these final weeks?

I feel exactly the same. I and my husband have a routine to walk just around before or after dinner. Maybe find a routine that both can enjoy

I’m the same. And with 6 weeks ish still to go it’s driving me mad. Find something you can do that keeps you distracted, reading, a 100 season tv series, sorting through babies clothes etc or little jobs round the house that only take a min

Same here, suffering with SPD and when I stand I feel like I might wee myself due to the pressure 🥲 yeah my partner and mum have to do everything for me, I’m so grateful but I can’t even show alone as I can barely move. Staying positive by reminding myself how greatful I am to be feeling these things lol x

Yep I can’t walk for more than a min or drive anymore as I can’t do the pedals due to pgp - my husbands finished work I feel totally useless, my c section is booked for 2nd Dec I am counting down the days xx

Do you have an exercise ball? I find sitting on mine really really helps when I’m in pain. I find it takes the weight off a bit and I can walk better after. I know it’s uncomfortable but try to do a few laps around the block or even round your garden.

That’s 100% how I felt! My waters broke early and that relieved the pressure and now baby has arrived the pressure is off! I just spent most of my time as you had, watching tiktok/reading… having private physio and pregnancy massages where possible. Going for a drive (as a passenger) with windows opened was ‘exciting’
