Have your waters broken? Or are you high risk? If not, try to relax, time them, take a bath and some paracetamol and see how you go 😊
@Adele no they haven't and no I'm not high risk
Then you're best off waiting them out as long as possible as going in can stall labour starting. Call your labour unit and they'll advise how close together and how long they should be for you to go to the hospital 😊 they might just be braxton hicks though if they're irregular and on and off 😊 x
You’ll know in the next few hours or so if it’s the start of labour. I actually went into labour at 38+6. I went to my baby shower at midday and had cramps very irregular (however mine weren’t really painful). I then got home and by around 6 is when they started to be more painful and more regular. Got in the bath until around 10:30pm. Went to the midwife unit and I was 7cm then had him 43 minutes later. I would personally just wait it out and not involve hospital yet as like above said, it may interfere with your potential early labour 💙
It went on from 13:00 until about 18:00 and it has now stopped. I managed to get to my yoga class as well without the cramps. I wonder if that was it. I guess we will find out!
I would call PAU
