My girl is always falling and bopping her head on the floor we have carpet and it is never that hard she doesn’t even fuss about it most of the time she just gets back up it is stressful because you don’t want them to get hurt but the more movement they get the less you can stop them really they’ve got to work out the dangers for themselves I mean I used to put a breastfeeding pillow round the back of my girl but it’s pointless now because she just moves away from it
Playpen when I'm not in the room supervising. If he starts pulling himself up on the furniture I'm sat on the floor near him watching as he doesn't have the necessary balance & core strength yet.
This might make me sound like a bad mum, but our lounge has carpet my girl is just army crawling, I let her explore off the mat too if she rolls and knocks her head on the floor she's fine. I just make sure there isn't anything in her path she could move or knock into e.g small stall or something. They learn by experiencing these things
