I also use a catcher, well, it auctions on and I collect while feeding and then add to a bag and put in the fridge haven’t combined the bags though as yet. My baby won’t take a bottle though so got a draw in the freezer full of milk and can’t use it!!
@Alex you can use it for baths. Depending on how old your lo is, they might take it later on. You can also use it in their foods, smoothies, drinks, etc., when they start eating. You'll have to use it within 24hrs of defrosting it in the fridge. There are tons of use for it.
@Nat thanks ☺️ struggling for room in the freezer at the moment this is the problem. When you say baths just empty it all in the water then? Yeah she won’t have a bottle at all it’s so frustrating!!
@Alex oh I completely understand that....I had to get a chest because it was getting bad. Yes, dump the whole bag in the water. These are great for if they have rashes, dry skin or even help nourish their skin.
If I understand correctly... 1. Yes, you can 100% mix the same day milk into a bag. Expressed milk can stay in the fridge for up to 4 days from the day it was placed. So with mixed batches it's the first day it was placed in the bag. In a fridge freezer for 6 months and a full freezer for up to 12 months. 2. Any expressed or pumped BM should be placed in the fridge right away after a pump/session but if not it can only stay out for 2 hours at room temperature (it might be 4, but you'll have to check). After that I don't believe it can be stored in the fridge.
