Advice please

My LO is 20 months old and has become so fussy. He will happily eat breakfast but then refuses lunch and dinner and prefers to snack throughout the day. It’s getting to the point where he would happily not eat if it’s something he doesn’t want. He used to eat anything and everything and then became fussy at around 18 months. I have been so worried about him as he will happily eat a good breakfast and then refuse meals, dinner times are so tough. People have said that I have made him this way, but I don’t see how as I have always given him a healthy balanced diet since we started weaning. I have no idea what’s changed. He isn’t even willing to try the different foods I put infront of him and will just sit and cry. He will only eat one certain food and if that food isn’t served, he will happily not eat. He has also started waking up during the night screaming and refuses to go back to bed. I’m not sure whether this is just an age thing and it will pass but I feel so useless :(

It's a phase they all go through x

Definitely a phase, I did find involving my son in the process of cooking the meal really helped him to at least try it even if it was just watching while he played with utensils or played with the ingredients x

Our LG is 22m and generally she’ll eat well. However we’ve had to stop giving her a snack at 10 and tea at 4pm (when she’s at home). When she’s at nursery they tend to give her a fairly big tea, so she has very little appetite for dinner and gets very fussy. We’ve also had to be very cautious about the small snacks we give cuz we have to consider them as part of her next meal. Our lg has also been sleeping worse since we converted her cot to a bed. She’s also tall enough to open the doors so she comes to our bed, making us more aware of how lightly she sleeps.
