I drink and nurse. I wouldn't get black out stumbling drunk but if I can safely hold the baby, I nurse
Drink water while drinking
I used to be dead strict waiting 2 hours between a drink and a feed which made it really difficult! Then someone gave me advice as if reflected above if you can find and feed you are fine. If you are very drunk it would be same as formula feeding! You wouldn’t pick your baby up to give them a bottle if you have had too much to drink so don’t with breastfeeding. If you are going on a day or night out I would pump and have a supply of bottles for someone else to feed but a couple of drinks will be actually fine and my baby is 7 months now and is fine
my doctor, who has the children that she has breast-fed herself, told me if you can find and feed the baby. You are fine to breast-feed. I have nursed my little one shortly after having a drink and and there have been zero side effects. Note to say I only ever have one or two drinks anyway and it takes me a good 30 minutes to finish a wine cooler.
