Yes been crawling since about 5.5 months! And is now pulling to stand. He is 6.5 months now!
Honestly not many tips, as I still think most babies are on their own timeline! We didn’t do anything super special just lots of tummy time, my husband and I would crawl around on floor with him so he could replicate our movements!
My daughter is crawling not very well yet lol. She’s almost five months She started army crawling at four months then strengthened her arms to match her legs. There’s really no tips to speed it up they just need to slowly get through all the steps required to have enough strength to support their entire body. Do as much floor and tummy time as you can and he’ll get there in no time
My son is crawling, or army crawling. He will be 6 months on the 28th. I put him on the floor with the padding, every chance i get, and he gets intrigued by the pad itself or his teethers or my water bottle and that helps him move. I used to sit next to him on the floor to kind encourage him eye to eye
Mine 6.5months and not crawling yet but any day now. He's figured out hands and can rock back and forth on hands and knees but hasn't realized he can push with his feet. Tips would be to ensure they have bare feet to grip with, and maybe try supporting their hips/belly with a scarf, from above
Mine started a few days ago and today she’s 6 months old
mine started army crawling at 5.5 months, he's trying to get up on his knees now
Crawling isn’t expected at 6 months!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the replies! For us supporting their hips/belly with scarf from above and folding his knees for him initially did the trick for the leg positioning! And he hasn't seen any baby around so i was worried how he will find out! Me and hubby too crawl sometimes but not sure if he got it yet! But felt relieved reading these msgs! Not gonna push my baby.. ill be patient 🤍 Thanks again
Mine hasn't either seems like she wants to though
Every baby is different! One way you can try and help build arm strength is putting your baby over your knee while sitting on the floor so that he can start putting weight on his arms, my boy didn’t like this at first, but he would wiggle himself down to the floor in front of him and I encouraged him to start wiggling more. My son is crawling right now and he’s six months old. Another tip would be just slightly outside of arms to give them a little encouragement to scoot. ❤️
Mine isn't, but is starting to kick those legs like he wants to try!
Mine tried crawling ended up doing a backwards scoot…and didn’t like that…so now she rolls I mean like rolls over and over again to her destination
I believe most babies move on their own time, but my son is crawling & now he is standing up on stuff 😭

Not mine but she’s trying
Not mine. She hasn't even started sitting on her own, and we've been doing tummy time, which she hates.
