How to get two year old to sleep longer?

So my daughter is quite good at sleeping through the night however we are currently stuck on a 5-5.30 wake up time. Any recommendations on how to get her to sleep a bit longer? She goes down between 7-7.30 and falls asleep independently. I’ve tried pushing it later but doesn’t seem to help. Any advice welcome

Urgh early morningd are brutal we have been struggling with them too. Average overnight sleep is 10-11 hrs and total sleep 11-14. So her times are very average/normal if presumably she is still napping. It's really hard when you see babies doing above average of 12hrs but I've learned this just isn't the norm for most especially as they get older. You can't make a baby sleep longer than they need or are tired enough for. You could try shifting your whole day later by 15 or 30 mins at a time until it's set at 8-8.30 bed but this may need at least a week or two? Or could try shortening the nap to see if she adds it onto her night sleep. Work out what she does in 24hrs basically and try and respread it, rather than expecting more total sleep, especially if she sleeps through, you don't want to ruin that! X

I remember being desperate for the same. However after a lot of research I learned that most babies sleep around 10 hours. What worked for us was pushing bedtime back to around 8/8.30pm (tough but worth it for the extra sleep) Also look at their sleep environment, is there any late/sound coming through? Or is it a bit colder in the mornings. I read that if your baby wakes around 5 it’s almost impossible to get them back to sleep due to melatonin wearing off
