How to get GP’s to take baby pain seriously? Our little one will be happy and smiling and all of sudden start crying a high pitch scream

My motherly intuition is that something is wrong but of course he is a baby. But how can he go from 0-100 so quick. I’ve never seen this in other babies at my baby classes. We don’t have a light cry. I’m almost sure he’s in pain

Could you try to film them? Just so you can take proof x

Definitely Get a 2nd opinion with a different pediatrician if the current one you are going to is not willing to check your baby 🥺❤️..

My 14 month old does this (since newborn). I've tried telling gp too and was told wait and see how he is. He will be happy and laughing and then instantly switch to screaming as though in pain - I'm unsure if it could be his hyper mobility or something else but haven't been taken serious yet either like yourself

I’m in the U.K. and I wonder what more I can do. Perhaps go private ?

When you say baby goes from 0-100 is this in his temperament? Do you notice it at particular times of the day/night? How old is your baby?

2 months old. Always been told it’s colic but the arching is still so dominant (with a preferred head tilt). It’s hard to go to GP and just say my baby screams a lot. Yes because cry is like a scream not wah wah

I’d take baby to see a cranial osteopath / one who specialises in babies. Sounds like could be what baby needs. More of holistic approach than medicinal.
