I had a abusive husband for 5 years and I finically left a year and a half ago to meet my current boyfriend who is the best boyfriend honestly I think it made me realise how much better my life is since leaving. I was married to a man who made me chronically tired and ill I lost my hair because of stress. I had really bad mental health. To know I’m in uni doing a degree in criminology in my own home and actually trying to make friends and about to go on my first family holiday becuase he’s not spending all my money. It is tough getting out, but think about all the things you can do once you leave xxxx

Not me personally but my mum definitely! Youre not losing anything by leaving because you’re miserable anyway/l- there is always someone better!
aw so happy you got out for the better! It’s stories like this that really make me feel a lot better. Thanks for sharing 🫶🏽xx

My best friend left her abusive partner when their daughter was around 6 months old
She started a relationship with her now husband around a year or two later
They have a child together now, and he has children too in his custody so they are all a blended happy family!

It’s ok, that’s what we’re here for to all support each other through the hardest. I think also if your sitting and thinking does my boyfriend even love me. Then he isn’t the one for you because he if he truly loved you and appreciated you for bringing his baby into the world he would appreciate you fully so you don’t feel let down. My boyfriend isn’t the father of my children and I’ll tell you what he is the bestest fatherly figure he’s shown me and the kids what love is. Keep going your doing well your children deserve to see their mum happy not barley surviving xxx
