Advice on if am cooking this right so chopped veggies are soft enough?

no judgement pls as still learning 🙈 I’ve chopped red pepper and mushrooms into my LO’s omelette I’m making into finger food omelette strips. She’s 10months and doesn’t mind chunky food etc. But I know I need to make sure peppers etc are cooked through still. So I did the raw chopped veggies whisked into the egg and all in the pan. If cooking it for longer on a really low heat with lid on pan so the veggies kind of have enough time to steam soft through in the omelette is that all fine?

I'd say yes. Personally I cook my veg before adding egg just to make sure they are cooked

@Ebony okay good to know thanks, will cook veg before next time

Yes I do the same as @Ebony, I cook any veggies that I’m using first before adding the egg to my baby’s omelette

We cook the veg first too peppers for longer than the mushrooms

That should be fine though those pieces are very small

Thanks all x

I always go based on what I’ve seen my baby is able to handle if that makes sense. If you feel like it is soft enough for her to chew on then go for it. You are doing great!

@Leah thanks. She is a shove as much as she can in her mouth girl. So I’m a little wary. She scares me sometimes with how she does it 😮‍💨. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I just looked at your profile and actually put the book you have as your favourite book on my Amazon list 😅🙂 📖
