Possible HG… will drs help?

I’m only 5 1/2 weeks along but I have awful sickness. I feel nausea 24/7 I can’t lay down at night so have to sit up and cat nap between the nausea or vomiting. I can’t get out of bed in the day and I’m being sick countless times. I can’t cope with this without help and the thought of this only getting worse terrifies me. How willing are drs to prescribe anti sickness during pregnancy? I’m worried I’ll have to put up a fight to be listened to.

I got prescribed anti sickness the first time visiting GP. They don’t want you to be vomiting as it can cause severe dehydration which isn’t good for you or baby. It’s taken three types of drugs but i finally think I’ve found one that works. I went when I was 6 weeks and now 12 weeks.

GPs should listen and prescribe you something if you explain exactly this. Good luck and don’t lose hope, for me it went away almost completely by 20 weeks and I was only sick occasionally after that.

There should be no problem getting anti sickness meds. Just go to a GP
