That’s a question for your paediatrician or your baby’s doctor. For us, my girl had all the signs at 4months. We couldn’t push it back till 6months as she was going through 2-3Ls of formula in a 24hr period and her paediatrician told us to start. Because we were going through so much formula she started having issues with consitpation and later when she was 1 that we didn’t know at the time was showing signs of a cows milk intolerance. She refused purees, as she just wanted what we were eating. Even now at 2years old she doesn’t like eating anything that looks different to what we are eating. Baby rice has zero nutritional value it’s a waste of time and money and is just empty calories. Babies shouldn’t have any solids until 6 months as can give digestive issues such as ibs etc for them as an adult. You can start with purées but just as easy to start baby led weaning from the start at 6 months and just feed them what you’re eating
