My daughter was having this same problem. I signed her up for āmygymā class, once she saw other babies walking, modeling it, my daughter instantly started to follow the other children lead.
@andreya thank you so much that really helps
Mom I would suggest not to do anything apart from light massage of his legs ,,, honestly I donāt like walkers and havenāt used any push walkers till 9 months ,,, be sure he will figure this on his own,, you just encourage him ā¦
Maybe a doorway jumper for exercise and muscle strength
So what I did with my LO was stand her up in the bed and when she feel down, I picked her back up and did it all over again, when she got use to falling and comfortable in bed we move to carpet on the floor, etc, she then started moving more on furniture, pulling herself up etc so try placing ur little one in the bed and let him know it okay to fall and then get back up, this made my daughter determined and it helped her walk months before her bday, if possible make it fun and encouraging, you got this momma šŖ
@Monaok thank you I will definitely be try this
Hey mama! I think youāre fine I do suggest taking the walker away. It can slow baby down and possibly cause hip dysplasia. Donāt use any jumpers or anything to try and help. Baby will walk on their own. Crawling is very important so as long as heās crawling thatās good. Some babies learn overnight. Itās crazy. Donāt worry! I didnāt start walking till 18 months š«¶š¼ itāll be okay.
Some kids are late bloomers with moving like this. Some never even crawl, just skip right to walking. Babies are smart, he probably knows he can get around so well in that walker and wants to be lazy lol. I would suggest not using it anymore and either use nothing or one that they can only hold on to. Let him get frustrated and he will figure it out!

My baby girl was born 2.5 months early. We try to encourage the milestones but Iāve learned not to stress over it, each baby develops differently and at their own pace. I work on lots of standing activities. Bringing couch cushions to play area for her to crawls / kneel against or stand against for play time! Her walker is taller than her but lots of kneeling movement helps. Youāre doing great mamaā¤ļø
