I don’t think it would be enough. You would spend most of that in food.

No way. Stay alone can be anywhere from 100-500 per night just for a decent hotel. Food, shopping and outings too? I would try and bring at least $5k
I feel like $2500 for a week of budget friendly activities and food choices and excluding travel cost. I don’t know where you’re traveling from and how you plan on getting around.
For me it was enough but I stayed in a crappy Hostel and took buses only
I haven’t been myself but planned a boys trip for my husband back in 2019 (I think) and from memory they spent about $4k AUD each.
Went a year ago, cost a total of £4500 for 2adults and 1 toddler.
