Bleeding in early pregnancy

I’m 13 weeks today and I’ve had some bleeding the day before yesterday and then again today. When I had my scan the lady told me that I would bleed due to seeing a hemorrhage. I just feel a little worried and I don’t know if I should call up for advice or who to call at all. Can anyone help me? Thank you. I’m registered with city hospital if that helps.

Call the Midwife Advice Line. They’ll likely send you to maternity triage my lovely. Better to get checked and be safe. ❤️

I don’t want to scare you b it I had this then lost my pregnancy please go get some advice and keep an eye on the bleeding, if it ends up paring with pain please go get seen x

Hey I just called up now thank you, the midwife said for now she doesn’t have any concerns because the bleeding isn’t heavy but if it becomes heavy then I need to go to a&e. She also said that someone from the early pregnancy team will call me back this afternoon. I’m just so anxious 😥

Just had a call back to go in x

Bless you! I hope it goes well. Try not to panic. Remember that they picked up a harmless on the scan and the likelihood is that it’s that. Stay positive my lovely. X

Fingers crossed for you ❤️

I bled very heavily with a massive clot at 11.5 weeks susoected the worse it stopped after 3 hours. Not happened agaim and im 17 weeks They couldnt explain it and said sometimes it just happens. Deffo get checked though x

@Jodie I just got back home, he offered me a scan in the next week so I accepted. Hoping for the best xx

Fingers crossed my lovely! I’m sure if they were ultra concerned, they’d be keeping you in for further testing etc. I know it’s hard but try to remain calm☺️

@Amy thank you! I saw baby on the scan and there was a heartbeat. They could still see a bleed though so they said they’ll keep a close eye on it

Amazing news everything crossed for you and baby ❤️

That’s really promising my lovely ☺️ at least they’ll be keeping a close eye on you! Some women have bleeds throughout their entire pregnancy and go on to have very healthy babies. ❤️
