Im currently 24 weeks and have a normal placenta (dk the right name) so always feeling movements but if your concerned call your midwife, im not sure if u should be feeling loads, id assume so thou x

I am also 23 weeks and only started feeling baby a week ago as I also have an anterior placenta. Some days he is really lively and I can feel loads of movement, other days I can’t feel much at all! The baby will move and if they get in a space behind the placenta then it’s likely we won’t feel as much! If you’re in doubt ring your midwife team, but otherwise id give it a day and really concentrate on feeling any movement at all xx

I’ve been told I have an anterior placenta but I’ve been feeling kicks from 18 weeks (I’m 22+5) most people I’ve seen haven’t felt many kicks with this placenta placement though! I would speak to your midwife if your worried but if baby is fine on scans I wouldn’t be worrying xx

Also they said to me at my 20 week scan if you can’t feel any movement by week 24 then to ring them. The first time I felt movement it was one kick and then nothing for a day, then gradually became more and more. I still have days where I barely feel anything though! X

I have an anterior placenta and am pretty much 25 weeks. I was in triage last week as I all of a sudden couldn't feel him move when I preciously could. Although it is likely just your placenta I was told I should never assume so and was asked to go in to be checked over. It was my placenta in this case but it's nice to have the piece of mind:) always best to ask the experts advice :)

If I was going to ring would I ring the triage ? X

Yes I believe past 16 weeks you'll be told to ring triage. X

I have an anterior placenta and 21+3 and not felt any kicks yet , but if you have been and then have had reduced movement probably best to get it checked

My advice is always call midwife if you are concerned- as it says on the NHS website call immediately if babys movements change, slow or stop - midwife will just give baby a quick listen to heartbeat and make sure they’re okay they honestly don’t mind it takes 5 mins xxx

Ring triage or your midwife to be sure but I’m pretty sure my midwife said they will be irregular until 24 weeks. I’m 22 weeks and recently had a couple days where I felt nothing when I had a cold and then have been feeling movements and hiccups the last few days. I also have an anterior placenta! Call them for peace of mind but most likely everything is fine ❤️

Everything was perfect thank you much for all the comments they checked his heartbeat and he was lovely xx
