Little girl fell off the sofa

Was attempting to go out and I'd just done my little girls nappy, put her on the sofa, turned my back for 2 seconds and she rolled off the sofa and hit her head on the floor Screamed for 20 minutes, nothing I was doing to comfort her was really helping. She seems fine now and has had all her bottle. Just feel really bad about it 😢

These things happen please don’t beat yourself up about it. It’s more traumatising for us than it is for them! Xxx

Mines fallen off the bed twice now! I felt so guilty but at the end of the day these things do happen, just keep an eye on her but also be kind to yourself xx

I’ve had this twice now falling off the bed. She cried for 20 seconds, it was me who cried for 20 mins. Bcos she cried for such a short time we didn’t take her to get checked out but at our first aid course they said to always get them checked over at A&E if they cry a lot or are showing any other signs that aren’t normal for them

Honestly dont beat yourself up lovely it happens to the best of us! But I do honestly think my little girl gets more upset if I try to comfort her 🤦‍♀️🤣 I just try and sing, dance and okay and make her smile and she gets over any head bumps very quickly ! If I cuddle her she screams more and won't calm down at all but that's just my little one! xx

@Rhiannon Yeah I think my little girl is the same, she's always had such a high pitched cry/scream ever since she was born. I was thinking oh shit, picked her up, tried to comfort her and that definitely made her worse x

My little boy has fallen twice now, they are so much stronger than we think. Like others have said don’t beat yourself up about it! I read somewhere that babies are made to survive new parents and it made me feel better :)

Mine fell of the bed aswell today. Mum guilt so bad, went to the doctor just to check and everything was fine. They are little fighters x
