Stay at home moms with multiple kiddos — where are some fun places in Atlanta/Georgia to go during the day?

We already go to the park, sometimes the library. Looking for other fun things to go with kiddos who are under 2 years old.

we try and hit up places that are usually busy on weekends. chuck e. cheese (or as I call it, the rat palace 😂), catch air, aquarium, things like that.

Catch air & kids avenue in Buckhead

We do things that are too busy in weekends but mainly they get yo have the park playground to themselves We've done Chuck e cheese, and we'd like to go to thr Children's museum. The high museum has toddler days each month. We did the Bunny Hive for a short time. I never see others while we're out 😅

Google neighbors/ cities . I do this and always find activities to do beyond the generic “aquarium” and playground. X Example: I’ll google johns creek city. Look at the events on their calendar and if something sounds fun I go. I do the same for city of Atlanta, buckhead, Marietta, Duluth, Dunwoody, Roswell…you name it. I’m there. Additionally I look at local libraries too for fun toddler story time events. But the best location for this (in my opinion and I been to a lot of libraries) is south cobb regional library. Ms. Hannah is fantastic. They have stay and play. They do a Halloween costume parade for the little ones. They do parachute play. And soo much more that many libraries don’t. Same goes for the week. I stay busy and out of the house. I go to free events and one that might cost an entry fee with my boys. They love the experience and I love being out in the community so my kids to see other children and other ways of life

We recently went to college football game (viewing) in Smyrna on Saturday. Husband got to watch the game, the kids and I got to run around, get some Yumm food and ride scooters. Week before we went to Lawrenceville harvest Festival and Marietta farmers market. There so much happening that you get overwhelmed but you have to do some research in advance. And depending on how far you’re able to drive. I’m taking my boys to a Christmas treat farm (they also have farm animals and actives)….in Paulding County. Bit of a drive but I know they will love it. We already have our Christmas tree but will let them get mini ones for themselves and just to enjoy the festivities
