Low lying placenta

Has anyone had any experience with a low lying placenta? I got told at my 20 week scan I have a low lying posteria placenta and that they do usually move, however, I need to have a scan before I’m 23 weeks and if still hasn’t moved, another at 32. I have my scan on Thursday when I’ll be 22 weeks 2 days and I’m just wondering what to expect (they did mention if they couldn’t do it the usual way, I may need a transvaginal ultrasound). Any experiences of this? Thanks

I also had a low lying placenta and didn’t need to transvaginal ultrasound when it came to it - just had the standard ultrasound. Mine had moved by 32 weeks. Hopefully yours does too but there are many benefits to a planned C section! x

Thank you! That’s reassuring, I’m hopeful that it will move but I’m open to whatever needs to be done x
