Getting breastfed baby to take a bottle

My baby is 11 weeks old and EBF. We’re trying to get her to start taking a bottle so my husband can help out with some of the feeding but we’re really struggling to get her to take it! She seems to get frustrated when trying to latch onto the bottle then just gets really upset when she can’t. Does anyone have tips or recommendations for bottles that are easy for breastfed babies use?

My daughter used pigeon bottles and did really well. We breastfed and she would drink the bottles as well

What worked for us was lansinoh bottles with a slow teat, keep the bottle horizontal as long as you can. My partner had to give the bottle until he was used to it, if I was in the same room he just expected boobs x

My daughter did okay with the Lansinoh bottle but at the end my daughter just rejected them all together unfortunately and I had to EBF, I made my husband my door dasher though and bring me food and snack. But definitely give those a try. Try going for a bottle that looks more like your nipple than the “top sellers”

MAM bottles are great

We use MAM size 0 teat. The milk squirts out exactly like a nipple. They're also self sterilising which is a godsend as I'm EBF and don't want to spend money on a steriliser for just a couple of bottles!
