@Kate, yeah, this is what i have also been doing, but I have also been putting them on him for nursery so he gets used to them. I have tried slip-on shoes and think they are barefoot shoes? Even normal shoes don't matter what shoes they are he pulls off. I'm just hoping that in the next few weeks, he will decide to keep them on!
@Kate which barefoot shoes do you use?
Lives in them. Will continue to on dry days, but we do have wellies too for wet ones xx
Little bit of rain on their toes wont harm em!
@Bex, he's gorgeous 😍 💖 I will definitely try this. Thank you 😊
I have one that loves shoes and the other that hates them
Hey. Mine magically agreed to his sock shoes at about exactly 4 weeks since his first 2 steps so hang in there. He understood that if he didn't wear them he couldn't walk and had to be carried in the playground. We took him to the playground every day anyway In the meantime I wasted a lot of money on different shoes. He was able to take all of them off no matter how many velcro fastenings or whatever he sat on his bum and pulled them or he used the other foot. (No one had showed him how to take off shoes he just instinctively did it). So he had to want to keep them on When we put them on we distract him to hope he doesn't notice. Same with socks lol
Also when he sized up, his current sock shoe (barefoot) is from jojo maman bebe and they stay on way better than the purestep ones in the smaller size because the sock is way longer. Tbh he's in between the sizes at the moment, one a bit small and the other a bit big
@Bex the Bobux pre-walkers. The have a reinforced toe so can be worn for crawling and walking (she does a bit of both!).
Just keep putting them on! My daughter hated shoes when she first started wearing them then when she was confidently walking she never wanted to take them off 😂 they are just getting used to having them on!
We only put shoes on for outside and have barefoot shoes so they are super lightweight and comfy.
