mine was like this at 6m. she would end up shuffling backwards all the time 🤣 or she would bounce back and fourth in the crawling position lol. i just left her a lot to sit and play with her toys or id get on the floor with her and out of the blue she started crawling !! what helped her was she always loves trying to grab my phone 😂 so i put it on the floor away from her to try crawl to every now and then and id say that really helped 😂 all babies learn at their own pace! if you’re worried though speak to your HV or if you’re really worried GP. i didn’t crawl until i was 13months🤣 but then i started walking like straight away apparently !! i have heard babies can skip crawling sometimes so don’t be too stressed !😊
My baby is 9 months today and she is not interested! She’s sitting up and very strong on her legs but as soon as I put her on her tummy to try crawling she’ll cry😂 Not worried as she is my second. All babies are different, please don’t compare 🩷

My boy is 9 months next week and no interest in crawling or moving. Hes been sitting up unaided since about 5.5 months and he’s happy just sitting up he will lean himself forward to grab things and will stand up being supported but other than that he’s pretty lazy, I wouldn’t worry x
All babies are different don't worry. My 14 month old has just learned to sit better but still falls and beginning to crawl (he has a few conditions which is why but some babies dont crawl, some walk from 12 months some much later). My sisters friends baby nearly 9 months started crawling a day or 2 after my son. Its just whatever pace baby goes at. You can encourage to crawl by moving babies legs in crawling position. Also hold baby up against sofa to get a feel of standing- correct feet if standing on tip toes x
