Oh man, I had the same. In the end the only thing that helped me was buying a leakproof bra - got mine from https://www.hotmilklingerie.co.uk/products/embrace-leakproof-black-t-shirt-nursing-bra-wirefree. but there are a lot of options online. Tried breast pads, but I couldn't get on with them during the night, I just soaked through them and then they felt wet and itchy! Good for going out during the day, though
@Justina the phn said I shouldn’t pump that makes it worse 🫠
And it’s way to much for pads 😅
It will calm down as your milk regulates. Short of somehow strapping a milk collector to you when you're asleep all you can really so if baby isn't feed is to keep ontop of changing bra pads. Or hand express a little bit to get the worst out when it's really bad at night and baby isn't hungry.
I saw someone put size 1 nappies in her bra, she said it was so much better than nipple pads! May feel a bit weird though lol
I wear a bra with reusable breast pads to bed
Lansinoh breast pads are all you need
Are you leaking when you're asleep, or during night feeds? I always have to put a muslin and press on the other boob when feeding in the night.
@Charlotte both 😂 sometimes I wake up and it just wet. When I feed I use a breast milk collector for the other side which is great
Lansinoh pads are the best.
To sleep I wore a nursing vest with a built in shelf bra (from Asda), breast pads, then a folded up muslin over each boob. It gets better!
I actually struggled with my milk supply but still leaked a lot at night and ended up just sleeping on a towel. I was so sleep deprived the texture didn't even bother me
Are you using breast pads ?? Or mayb try and pump before bed to help xx
