Giggling

My lg is 5m on 30th Nov and not giggling still. I’m desperate to hear her little giggle. She smiles a lot and looks like she wants to but no noise comes out. I’m guessing her mobility skills are developing faster than her communication, as she is rolling confidently and sitting up with support. Attempting to crawl, grabbing etc. Anyone else still waiting for that first chuckle??

My baby was the same she’s 6 months on the 3rd of June and only the last week or so she’s been giggling but it takes alot she’s a very serious little girl but was always full of smiles x

Same, my girl is full of smiles and she seems like she wants to giggle but just not happening 🙈 maybe its a girl thing as my son gave his giggle up so easy and laughed at everything 🤣 or maybe im just not funny now which is entirely possible 🤣 x

She’s a very serious baby and nosey. The giggle will be so worth it when she gets there and I’ll probably cry 😂 I seem to cry at every milestone, can’t believe how quickly they learn everything!

We have a very smiley girl too, will be 5 months on 24th November. We get a odd attempt at a giggle, but it takes a lot 🤣 more of a “huuh” sound and then gives herself hiccups from it 🤣

My little girl is nearly 5 1/2 months and she’s only just chuckled but like yours has been smiling for ages with the occasional little sound

My first was like this! Would make us work so hard for a giggle and we didn’t get one until like 6 months I think! Physical humour is her thing even now at 2.5 but took us a while to work this out! Our second just gets the giggles at so many things and she’s 4 months! Just a personality thing I think! Xx
