Please dont take pain relief unless you know for sure they havent given you any especially after delivery. Pack baby some socks in case anything happens and baby ends up with a cannula the sock is much easier to protect it with. Snacks for both pre and post birth and something to do incase you get kept in like tablet to watch films or a book. Also stuff for your birthing partner change of clothes/comfy clothes. Also a pillow for you both incase they dont have any plus the plastic pillows make you sweat more. Cardigan for you incase it gets chilli x
I cannot recommend enough.....snacks!
@Rhiannon they’re priority😂
Not especially necessary but I'm taking a lovely smelling room spray - despite my long and arduous labour last time, that was a nice addition to the whole experience hehe x
I’ve been told by so many people to pack painkillers especially when you’re on a ward as you’re likely to be forgotten or not checked on when you’re due next round so that’s a really key bit of advice I’ve picked up xx
I’d also pack milk for baby in case your milk doesn’t come in or the hospital don’t provide :) x
looks amazing! cant recommend adult nappies enough though if you can fit them in! maternity pads just didn’t cut it for me that first week😂💛
