I had a similar experience. Around week 5 I accidentally twisted really hard to catch my 40lb toddler from falling. It was a major setback for a week or so. It felt like week 2/3 pain! Internally I felt stinging pain when I got out of bed. I was crying every day disappointed in myself that I had made so much progress and worked so hard not to carry my toddler. All that to say, my 8 week postpartum appointment went well (my OB wasn’t available until week 8 pp) and the pain subsided after 1-2 weeks. I’m 4 months pp and it’s crazy to think about recovery pain- it’s a thing of the past! Feel better soon mama!
I had the same, I got a cough about 4/5 weeks into healing, set me right back. When coughing and sneezing hold your tummy either with your hand or a pillow this helped me. Just take it as easy as you can until your cough has gone and that really helped me. Not picking anything up apart from baby. I did to much to earlier.
Thanks all this is really helpful! Glad to hear that things healed up again afterwards, was a bit panicked that I'd done some real damage but it's definitely eased up again today as the cough's easing up 🤞🏼
You should have your 6 week post natal appointment coming up. They sometimes ask to check your stitches or you can mention it to them then. Do monitor the pain, if it doesn’t feel normal to you then please do get it checked out
