Recommendations for Savannah OB

We’re pregnant and moving back to Savannah next month. Can you all give me your recommendations and experiences with OBs in the area. And pros and cons of Candler versus Memorial. We were looking at Savannah OBGYN that works with Candler but it sounds like maybe they don’t take in-network insurances and only those through an employer.

I go to Memorial. I've had a great experience with my first pregnancy here and am now on my second.

I use SavannahOBGYN. I had a great experience there. When I had to get induced it was just a wheelchair ride from the office to the l&d wing of the hospital. I will say that Memorial has a better/more equipped NICU. My daughter had a short stay and we loved our nurses but Memorial’s is a level higher. I was told that if they had serious concerns for my daughter they would transfer her to Memorial’s NICU. We had a short stay at Memorial when my daughter was a week old for her bilirubin (not the NICU). The facilities in the children’s hospital are shiny and new and we had a good experience there.

Can’t recommend home birthing with lowcountry midwifery enough. Sara is amazing!
