Big high waisted knickers Take your meds like clockwork that first week Stay mobile, the more you move the quicker and better you heal Stool softeners to counter the meds effect and avoid discomfort Peppermint tea if you have wind Great snacks in the house Baggy pjs If uncomfortable, climb stairs sideways 😊

I lived in adult diapers and long t shirts at home! I honestly felt amazing as soon as my c section and was able to do everything I used to but just not as much!
My stomach hung so there was an overlapping that caused sweating. I’d use the long pads the hospital gave (took a lot home too) and positioned it at the incision with my stomach & pants keeping it in place… it’s important for the area to stay dry to heal !! And not become irritated/stinky. Start sitting up on your own as soon as possible. (Few hrs later). This helped with to my 2nd c section so much for healing. Moving around/walking. Make sure you are given senna laxatives and a stool softener in the hospital (they should give anyway) but with my first they didn’t do senna and I was constipated for 6 days. Made the incision pain sooo much worst.
