Medical bullshit

I went to an ENT today for chronic ear issues and it was kind of dismissed a little bit (which unfortunately I'm used to) but what pisses me off more is they LIED in the after notes about how my ear pain responds to Tylenol and goes away in hours. I fucking said MULTIPLE times it DOESNT respond to Tylenol and can takes DAYS to go away. They're blaming it on my tmj but I personally think it's a inner/middle ear issues because I literally can not get water in my right ear without going deaf and being in insane pain. I haven't gone under water in over 10 years. I tried to tell my mom when I was younger I think I need tubes but she also dismissed me throughout my life 🙃 I'm so fucking tired of doctors lying on notes for things to not be that serious when I said something COMPLETELY different. I fucking hate the hospital and it's affiliates around here because they're ALL dismissive but it's the only hospital around my rural area 🙃 I'm fucking sick of it all, i think I'm going to find a different ENT not affiliated and get a second opinion because this is some fucking bullshit.

Definitely get a second opinion. That sucks. I was dismissed for over a decade and then finally found a doctor who figured it out

@Katrina I'm currently fighting with multiple different doctors for issues that have been going untreated for years. It's just another fight and I'm sick of it 😩 i wish there was someone I could yell at lol

@Annika I honestly see this so much in the medical field. I changed doctors so many times until I found someone who listened & was kind. Nobody wants to waste their time like that 😤

I work at an ENT clinic and we always do a diagnostic hearing exam anytime a patient has ear pain. Sometimes it is caused by Eustachian tube dysfunction. I would definitely make sure to go to an audiologist not just a tech for example Costco or a hearing aid center some of those don’t have licensed audiologists. Hope this information helps!
