postpartum changes but also got an iud, took a plan b I need your guys’s opinion
ok so 3 months postpartum and I just got the copper iud placed, bf came in me and I got scared bc probably still extra fertile rn and took a plan b. Now I have discharge that is pink/brown but like creamy but I don’t think it’s a yeast infection, could this still just be my body changing? I was reading online a plan b can also cause bleeding a week later so maybe my body is just reacting to that?? No other symptoms besides the discharge. No odor or anything just color change. Idk I just want to make sure everything is all good. Is there anything I should do? I don’t want to schedule a drs appt unless other symptoms start showing, this just happened today.

You generally have some light bleeding post-insertion of the Paragard for a few days.
How do you like the copper IUD? I’m getting the Mirena today. I’m worried about the hormones in it but my doctor didn’t suggest I get the copped( even though it was my first choice)
@Kadesha i have had the Mirena for about 8 weeks now and I spot a little for about a day every other week or so, but I haven't noticed any hormonal issues because of it. My pp rage, depression, and anxiety actually seem lower in comparison to my first pregnancy.

My sister took plan b, and within that same day, she started spotting, and it turned into a full blow period over the next week. Since you just got your IUD placed, it could also be because of that, I haven't had one, so idk for sure, but I'd think that might cause some pink/bloody discharge on its own considering what they do to place it. ETA: Your uterus is already inflamed from the IUD placement, and the plan b could've irritated it further
