Breakfast portion help

So we rotate breakfast options every morning to keep it exciting. My boy is such a good eater we are very lucky. However I'm confused about how much I should be giving him because no matter how much I give him he screams when it's gone. Surely 8 tablespoons of porridge is too much?!

Do you mean 8 tablespoons of actual oats made up or 8 spoons of porridge once made up? My baby eats a full baby bowl size of porridge or weetabix and shes not a big eater. I would say its more like 20 baby spoonfuls.

Honestly I make an adult sized portion of porridge now that my daughter doesn't have brreastmilk anymore, she eats it all and sometimes a satsuma on top!

@CeeCee I do mean 8 tablespoons of actual porridge oats, not baby porridge or baby spoons. Weetabix 2 isn't enough for him but I don't give him anymore and ready break 8 tablespoons he screams at that when it's gone too. He's a big eater and loves food.

My little on is on 1.5 Weetabix with fruit

Can you try and give him some small pieces of finger foods to have afterwards to see if that helps? I usually one 1 weetabix (she wont eat more) and a few pieces of fruit or some toast.

My baby cries when food is done. No matter how much I give her. I offer extra but sometimes I find it’s just the experience she wants to keep going.
