Feeding

Hi all, my little one is 7months now, we started weaning just before 6 months. He was doing so well with using the spoon himself, putting in his mouth and eating the foods. Now all he wants to do is bang the spoon on the high chair and barely touches anything. He won’t allow me to feed him with the spoon as he just wants the spoon himself. Any help/ advise with this.. become quit stressful!

Please don’t stress food before 1 is just for fun sounds like possible teething very possible at this age. I wouldn’t worry just stick to milk they go through stage like this all of the time! My 3 year old has fussy times sometimes xx

Honestly I wouldn’t worry too much at all yeah take a break or keep going doesn’t matter if he doesn’t eat much please don’t worry just have fun with it xx

2 spoons! The odd days my now 6 month old wants to play with the spoon we let her play with one and we feed with another

Use 2 spoons 🥄, one to play and one to feed.

Have you tried a dippy spoon? Amazon have some. Helps teething and self feeding!

Yes we do 2 spoon, 1 to hold and one to eat with, but still dosnt work atm! X

Have you tried some finger foods? My little one can be hit and miss with being spoon fed, but eats really well when it’s food she can pick up and eat herself x
