c-section date anxiety

Same baby number 4 C-section date is next Thursday at 39 weeks +1 and I'm thinking she might come before then but so far she hasn't yet lol

Same I'm booked for 39+3! It's my second section, first one was emergency so first elective one. Had my first at 37 weeks so this is all new to me, very anxious she might come early!

This happened to me in my first pregnancy, honestly the day went very similar to how an elective would of gone anyway, went in they checked me, confirmed I was in early labour and I just waited for abit then went down for my c section the same as I would of before, it was only a few days before so I was prepared anyway xx

I think it’s totally normal to feel a bit anxious that you might go into labour beforehand because you could but hopefully that won’t happen 🤞 If it does it would be classed as an emergency but it wouldn’t be a true emergency so it would go very much like your elective day, like Phoebe said. I’m also having an elective. We were told to ring if I went into labour before the date, that we’d go in, they’d check me and then plan to do it based on what was going on on delivery suite and how far along I was. x

I feel exactly the same. I also have my c section next Wednesday at 39+2. I keep thinking he'll come before then to the point where I'm struggling to sleep as I'm focusing on every little thing. X

I'm going for VBAC but if baby isnt here by 12th which is my due date then I've booked a section for the 12th. I needed something in place. I'm anxious about both.

I have mine on Tuesday and feel so relaxed about it. I’m just enjoying every wiggle but I am 100% ready to not be pregnant.

I am booked in for 39+5! But having lots of Braxton hicks so hoping to go early haha! I have heard as long as I don’t hit 8cm dilated then everything should be fine
