My son is doing the same what we ended up doing is making a big plate for ourselves and just happen to have two forks. Apparently stolen food tastes the best
My daughter was doing this too. If your toddler is anything like mine, she prefers things that are more bland. She doesn’t care for sauces or too much seasoning. Just the bare minimum flavor lol Also, I started to change her routine around. I use to do dinner, bath time and then bed. She knew bed came after bath time and would then ask to eat in order to stall. So I switched her schedule around to do bath time before dinner. Now she wants to eat all her food because she knows the moment she’s done eating it’s bedtime 😂 a little reverse psychology goes a long way
My son will eat multiple foods all day then the next day he will only want fruit snacks and jerky sticks. Totally normal. 💙
If you are wanting her to try different foods put one different food for her to try if she don't it's okay And always let her know it's okay to try it or not to try it Never make her feel like she has to eat what's on Her plate Because As an adult we don't like everything As well but at least have her favorite foods on the plate Even if she eats her favorite thing every day as long as she's gaining calories and happy And another suggestion she is almost 3 next month this is a great age to start letting her grocery shop with you Let her help in the kitchen let her Help you prepare food this is a learning age and they are so smart and amazing You'll see a big difference in her Appetite To try new foods when you include her I hope this helps mama
@Tara this is brilliant. Reverse psychology has saved the day with my kid many, many times.
I am going through a similar situation. Trying to figure out why she refuses to eat.
