My little guy lovesss apple sauce! Also not a fan of carrots, but has tried peas, sweet potatoes, bananas and butternut squash!

My little girl loves green beans! Carrots are pretty iffy and we’ve had a couple allergic reactions to fruit so she’s much more into veggies.. I steam carrot sticks and she loves to chew on those too! Peas are pretty good so far, celery is iffy, and potatoes are a solid no! I’m hoping when she experiences French Fries she’ll change her mind 😅🫣

She loves peas the most she is picky

I think I made the mistake by starting out the fruits so I’m going to start some veggies next week, hopefully she likes it!! lol so far she’s had apple & pear and she’s a huge fun of both :)

I tried apples and sweet potato , he loves the sweet potato. Gonna try carrots next

We’ve done green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, butternut squash, apples and bananas.. he’s also tried to eat my fries, nuggets, burgers, and coffee😂😂 the boy loves food already

@Amani Morales I started on banana and strawberries but she still loves veggies

@Bria same with my daughter she gets mad at me and her dad when we’re eating because we won’t share 😂

@Zsofia I hope you have a better outcome than I did

@Kamryn🇲🇽 she too cute!!!

@Cassidy what was it like with the allergic reactions were they scary? Also I’m sure she’ll love French fries! I’m so ready for her to try table food

@Sydney awww his little face 🥺. That’s good he liked carrots I was really hoping she’d like everything. Also awh my baby girl loved bananas she’ll fight me for them 😂

@Adrian he reminds me of my daughter the way he takes to spoon. My daughter is soooo impatient she starts crying sometimes when I don’t hurry with another bite lmao.

@Arysson Pears! Her dad has a lot of allergies (especially fruit!), she got hives, coughed/choked, got a low grade fever, super irritable, and immediately rejected the food.. We expected it so we had asked our pediatrician what dosage of Benadryl they suggested and had some on hand. It was definitely hard on her because she had no idea what was happening! It was a little nerve racking but her distrust of food for the week after was probably the hardest.. She’s starting to taking things out of my hands and try eating them.. She really likes chicken 😅

@Arysson honestly, with my daughter, I started giving her real foods when she was 5 months. If figured if she was “grown” enough to reach then she was grown enough to try to eat it. Her first real meal was tacos (meat and cheese in a rolled flour tortilla). She demolished it lol.

@Bria hahah you almost go me for a second 😂

@Cassidy I was told that she was too little to have Benadryl but my SIL 🫠. That is hard I’m sorry y’all had to go through that. Thank you for letting me know I’ve been on the look out but don’t know what to really look for. Also my daughter I was eating last night and she done took my fork out of the bowl 😭

Hello! Question, when did you start purées? I been wanting to start but when i put a food item near his mouth he wont open he just stares at me confused so im assuming he’s not ready? Ftm here😅

My little girl likes applesauce and banana so far taking it really slow just in case her belly rebels again

I started mine when he was 4.5 mo. So far he tried avocados, carrots, purple yam, and butternut squash. He's not picky but he wasn't a fan of carrots. Tmrw I'm gonna try sweet potatoes

I also never put food in front of him for him to grab it. He keep staring at us when we're eating so that's a good sign that he has interest with food. I just put the spoon in front of his mouth. The 1st time he didn't know what to do with it. So I had put push the spoon gently inside his mouth. But the next day he alrdy know what to do. Good luck!
