Am I overreacting?
I’ve had a very bad day. Found out a friend passed away last night. Told my boyfriend how I was feeling and that death always gets me in a really bad mental space. I told him it’d be nice if he could send just a nice lovey dovey text to me to help lighten things. And he just said “I’m a guy, guys don’t send lovey dovey ooey gooey things like girls do” and I had responded with “that’s not an excuse to not send them to me every once in awhile or when I’m having a particularly bad day. I’m learning all these boy games for you.” I’m learning how to play some war games he loves so we can play together. He left me on read. AIO?? I am like panicking.

If he respected you, even if it wasn’t “his thing” to send a message like that, he would do it for you because you have asked and he knows you’re having a difficult time.. it doesn’t take much time/effort. He’s choosing not to be there for you in how you need it … l
Sounds like your bf is a lazy heartless king baby. He finds emotions are just for women like wtf. I would dump his ass cuz there are so many men poets out in the world and through out history to say it’s just what women say is such bs! Men are capable of connecting with feelings and emotions cuz it’s not feminine it’s human. Your bf is the type of man who lacks empathy and i promise you a man that lacks empathy is a dangerous man. Even if he doesn’t hit you he will abuse you emotionally. So i would run and not look back.
