Anterior placenta

I had my anatomy scan yesterday and found out I have an anterior placenta! I know they are never really a cause for concern but there’s a few questions I had that I didn’t ask my doctor about. The spot where my placenta is, is pretty tender when I move certain ways or when I push on it is that normal? And also is it okay to push on it? I can still feel my baby move where the placenta is so I’ve caught myself pushing down on it to try to get her to move or what not. Is that okay? I also have a toddler that loves to rough house and although I avoid rough housing with him there are times I’ll get a knee or arm to my stomach will this hurt the placenta in any way? Any advice it appreciated! Also if you know anything else about anterior placentas let me know!

I have an anterior placenta this time, too. My Dr said there isn't really much to worry about. It may just take time to feel kicks more often. My toddler is rough, too. The baby is still well protected. I wouldn't encourage getting kicked or elbowed but baby should be fine. I'm not sure about pushing on it. I'm a bit tender in the same area but I also remember having that feeling with my youngest and that time was a posterior placenta so maybe not related or just random soreness.
