Hey, I recently went to the epu for pain on my right side, (I had the pain from 4+2) they did a scan and luckily baby was in the right place but they noticed I have a cyst on my right ovary and that’s what was causing my pain! They said it was absolutely nothing to worry about it’s just something they will monitor over time
@Boglárka oh okay thanks. I'll see how it is today and if anything ill go to EPU tomorrow. They're not answering their phones otherwise I would have asked them what I should do
@Jade oh really. What kind of pain was it, if you don't mind me asking. I'm sure with my first I had a cyst but can't remember the pain
There is a ligament on the right side that can cause quite a bit of pain, but if you're worried I would ask your GP to refer you to EPU but be aware they may not see you if you don't have any bleeding or constant pain.
I get stitch like pains - it feels like a tingling/butterlfy/pressure type thing but it’s not on one particular side kind of everywhere very low down.
Hiya. With my first I’ve had right sided pain, but it kind of felt like period pain. I was convinced it’s an ectopic pregnancy… I was just over 5 weeks, called the GP, they asked me to go to A&E (they take possible ectopic seriously, as it can be life threatening), then I was booked in for a scan the day after and everything was fine… as long as it’s mild discomfort, I think it’s normal.
