Vegetables. I've started with savoury flavours and then add a few sweet in between. So far we've had: Green beans, potato, brocolli, peas, red pepper, Greek yoghurt, cauliflower and carrots
Look into the Ella’s kitchen purple book x
Something not sweet! Like broccoli! You can always puree broccoli and give them a bit to play with to help hand eye coordination- I like to steam tenderstem as it’s easier for my daughter to hold and munch on xx
We started with all veg for the first week, sweet potato, carrot, parsnip, broccoli, cauliflower and then mixed a few together 😊
Do you guys make the veg into puree or steam them and let your lo hold and play with? Do your lo eat them? I try broccoli 2 days and my lo doesn't seem interested and when put near her mouth, she close her mouth straight away but will eat if puree on a spoon....
@Sharon I did both, puree and BLW. At first he ate like 2 teaspoons if that. He also HATES broccoli and I can only give it with other vegetables. The Ella’s kitchen purple book is a really good guide to have a look at x
@Sharon we’re mostly puree but I’ve given her a couple of things to hold herself like watermelon and banana x
Vegetables! Saves them from rejecting them later on 🫶🏻 sweet potato seems to be my sons fave
